【Abstract】 A shear strength energy tester controlled by PLC was used to record the deformation and the shear strength of moulding sand samples,and the results obtained are then processed to calculate the shear energy,which is used for characterizing the toughness of moulding sand.Different compactability,bentonite content,starch content and number of rams are applied to explore their influences on shear energy of the sand.Shear energy of different phases in the shear process was also studied.更多还原
