【Abstract】 Rattan cane is an important forest product just next to wood and bamboo with important economic value.Both the growth trait and morphological characteristics make the harvesting of rattan difficult,while there currently have little researches on rattan harvesting technologies and methods in the world.The backward harvesting of rattan leads to low harvesting efficiency,intensive labor,more losses of rattan,and even causes damage of trees.The authors discussed and analyzed the current harvesting technology and methods and also introduced the newest technology and methods.Finally,the possible strategies for future research and development were proposed to improve rattan harvesting.更多还原
