【Abstract】 This paper analyzed the regional development of agriculture in Jiangmen Municipality,Guangdong Province.Agriculture in Jiangmen plays a key role in the pan-region of Pearl River Delta.Future development of Jiangmen’s agriculture should focus on strengthening its role as a base to supply fresh agro-products,tour services,agro-products flow,and agro-products export and production for the pan-region through reasonable arrangement of agricultural distribution.In order to achieve the goals,regional distribution of agriculture in Jiangmen should be spatially organized as a pattern of "four zones,three axes and dual cores".The four zones are the western mountain,the southern coast,the eastern sub-urban and the central riverside.The three axes are respectively along-highways in the west mountain,the southern coast and the eastern part.The dual cores are the agro-product marketing center and the agro-tech extension park.This pattern of regional distribution will ensure the stable development of agriculture as an important economic sector in the municipality.更多还原
