红姜花Hedychium coccineum依赖个体大小的性分配研究

【摘要】 性分配理论假定雌雄功能间存在一种权衡关系,依赖个体大小的资源分配策略是解释种群内性分配变化的主要机制之一,已经引起了许多学者的关注,然而在姜科植物中缺乏对其的研究.为了验证依赖个体大小的性分配理论预测,研究通过对姜科植物红姜花Hedychium coccineum不同种群花期和果期的繁殖特征与个体大小的回归关系发现:①红姜花对繁殖结构的资源分配策略与SDS理论预测的一致,然而花期的繁殖分配却和预测不一致;②花设计大小、吸引结构、性分配和雌雄适合度都不依赖个体大小,暗示了这种性分配格局具有特殊的适应意义.

【Abstract】 Sex allocation theory assumes that there is a trade-off between male and female functions of relative investment,which depend on their fitness gain curves.One of factor accounting for sex allocation variation is size-dependent sex allocation.To test this prediction,we focused on Hedychium coccineum in Zingiberaceae that was extremely lack of research about sex allocation with size-dependency in present.In this study,we investigated reproductive traits of resource investment and allocation among field and transplanted populations in florescence and after flowering in 2009.Combined pollinator observation,regression models indicated that:① there was size-dependency within reproductive structure allocation in H.coccineum,but no consistent with SDS prediction in flowering period;② there were no variation with size-dependency in floral design size,attractive structure,sex allocation and male and female fitness gains,which might imply special adaptive significance.
