【Abstract】 Empirical analysis was made for the comprehensive effectiveness of scale merit in high vocational colleges in Jiangsu Province with the data envelopment analysis(DEA) model of the multi-input-output comprehensive effectiveness evaluation.The research shows that 31 out of 35 institutions have good scale merit,accounting for 90% of the sample institutions.The scale merit of 50% institutions increase the out put if they continue to increase education input,15% institutions’ output will decline with the decreasing of scale merit if they continue to do so.Therefore,constant increasing investment in high vocational education,in particular,performance investment will be helpful for the healthy and sustainable development of high vocational education in Jiangsu Province.The colleges with the best scale merit have 12600 students on average.Controlling the number of high vocational institutions,to ensure a certain scale of students at school,is significant for improving the benefit in vocational educational institutions.更多还原
