氢氧化镧增效阻燃聚丙烯的研究

【摘要】 采用垂直燃烧和极限氧指数两种测试技术,研究了不同种类和不同含量氢氧化镧对聚丙烯阻燃性能的影响。实验结果表明,与不添加氢氧化镧的空白试样相比,添加不同种类氢氧化镧试样的垂直燃烧等级明显改善,都由原来的V2级提高到UL-94 V0级,极限氧指数由原来的27提高到30左右,增加了3个单位左右,最多的增加了4.5个单位。综合垂直燃烧和极限氧指数两项指标,实验确定氢氧化镧的最适宜添加量为1.0%(质量分数)。通过热重分析,初步探讨了氢氧化镧阻燃材料的阻燃机理。

【Abstract】 Vertical combustion and limiting oxygen index measuring technologies were adopted to investigate the influence of types and contents of lanthanum hydroxide on flame retardancy performance.Experimental results showed that compared with the blank samples without lanthanum hydroxide,the vertical combustion grade of the powder with additives of different types of lanthanum hydroxide was markedly improved,from original V2 to UL-94 V0 and the limiting oxygen index had been enhanced to 30 or so from previous 27,up 3,with the highest of 4.5.By integrated analysis to vertical combustion and limiting oxygen index,the most suitable additive amount of lanthanum hydroxide had been determined to be 1.0%.From the thermogravimetric analysis results,flame retardant mechanism of lanthanum hydroxide material was preliminarily discussed.
