不同采种期对梓树种子品质的影响

【摘要】 通过对梓树不同时期采集的楸吊、种子特征的观测及种子发芽试验,研究了不同采种期梓树种子的品质和种子活力,为合理确定梓树种子的采收期提供科学依据。研究结果表明,随采种期的变化,梓树楸吊的粗度、鲜重、出种率、果形指数发生规律性变化。不同采种期梓树种子的发芽率、发芽势差异不显著,但种子活力指数、发芽指数随采种期的变化差异极显著。梓树在楸吊绿色时就具备了发芽能力,但种子活力指数很低。当种子干物质积累停止时,种子活力水平还有明显提高,种子存在一定的后熟期。11月中下旬采集的梓树楸吊出种率高、种子活力指数最大,种子品质最好,是适宜的采种期,采种时间越提前,品质越差。

【Abstract】 The quality and vigor of Catalpa ovata seeds collected from different time periods were studied through examining the seed morphology and germination to determine suitable time of collection.Along with the change of collecting time,regularities were observed in seed thickness,fresh weight,seeding ratio,and seed form index.There were no significant differences in germination rate and potential among the seeds collected from different time periods.However,significant differences were observed in seed vigor index and germinates index.The capacity of seed germination were formed when the fruit pod was green,but the seed vigor index was very weak at this stage.The seed vigor still increased even after the accumulation of dry materials in seed stopped,indicating the existence of post maturity.Late November was the suitable seed collecting time period for its high seeding rate,vigor index,and seed quality.Seeds collected before this period were poor.
