【Abstract】 Pound’s translation of Chinese ancient poetry has long been a hot topic of dispute,since some scholars deem that his versions are not truthful to the original ones.However,when analyzed from the perspective of skopos theory,some so-called translation errors are just creative translations.This paper aims at making an analysis of Pound’s C-E translation of the River-Merchant’s Wife: A Letter,revealing the translation purposes and accordingly translation strategies adopted by Pound from the perspective of skopos theory.更多还原
