【摘要】 英籍华裔作家毛翔青的小说《一片孤岛》以鸦片战争为背景,展现出英帝国主义占领香港过程中的诸多历史事件。本文借助海登.怀特和琳达.哈琴的理论解读该小说,尝试研究该作品中体现出的历史观。研究发现,作品中出现的附录、照片和新闻报导都旨在模糊历史和虚构之间的界限,将历史事件进行情节设置,从而阐明历史书写背后存在着意识形态立场的观点。因此本文认为,毛翔青质疑和挑战了旧历史主义的真实性和决定论的观点,揭示出历史的虚构性和开放性以及历史真实的多元化,从而表达出独特的后现代历史观。更多还原

【Abstract】 Set during the Opium War,An Insular Possession by Chinese-born British writer Timothy Mo gives an account of the many historical events during the British annexation of Hong Kong.This study attempts to interpret the novel and analyze the historical view of the author with the help of the theories of Hayden White and Linda Hutcheon.The study shows that the appendix,the photos and the newspaper extracts provided in the novel are meant to blur the dividing line between history and fiction.Furthermore,many of the historical events are emplotted.In this way,the idea that the ideological positions are lying behind the historiography is made clear.The study comes to the conclusion that Timothy Mo challenges the traditional historical view of authenticity and determinism and reveals the fictionality and openness of history as well as the pluralism of historical truth,expressing his distinctive postmodern view of history.更多还原
