【Abstract】 In the context of the western culture,through analyzing the direct reason,value basis and theoretical debate of British citizen education curriculum,we can find its developing outlines and the inherent laws,which can help us understand British citizenship education deeply.For the development of British citizen education curriculum system,the legitimacy crisis of values is its basic premise,the democratic society goal is its value foundation.Taking the curriculum objective value as the consideration basis of its implementation effect,there are still some different ideas in British academic circle about whether schools should set up citizenship education curriculum or not.At the same time,the lack of sufficient training for teachers who teach the course can be the main factor influencing the effect of implementation.更多还原
