【Abstract】 "What is Library Science" does not get and will never get an answer for once and all.Library Science is certainly a subject,a discipline,but cautiously to define it as a science.The authors argue that it is a human subject rather than a human science.Library Science is a kind of human study which tries to express the values and ideals of human in libraries and to discuss the meaning of existence,values as well as realization of the organic combination of emotional and rational knowledge by means of reviews,reflections and criticism,with special emphasis on the values,concepts and spirits of a subject,aiming at providing more reference for library practice and improving the humanity-based qualities and functions of libraries.更多还原
