【Abstract】 Objective:To investigate the effect of short co-incubation of gametes on the outcomes of in vitro fertilization -embryo transfer(IVF-ET). Methods:The clinical date of 2,044 IVF-ET cycles with short gamete co-incubation(2 h) in IVF and 274 cycles with conventional overnight co-incubation were analyzed retrospectively. Results:The lower fertilization rate and higher polyspermic fertilization rate were found in the group of short co-incubation of gametes than those in the group of overnight fertilization,and the difference was significant(P<0.01).No significant difference was found in cleavage rate,high-quality embryo rate,implantation rate,pregnancy rate,miscarriage rate or ectopic pregnancy rate between the two groups. Conclusion:Short co-incubation of gametes in IVF treatment may increase the polyspermic fertilization rate.更多还原
