【Abstract】 This paper discusses the integration of English cohesion theory with contrastive studies between Chinese and English in the teaching of translation between the two languages. It is pointed out that since translation involves the two languages, the teaching of translation necessarily involves both English linguistics and Chinese linguistics. Through a case study, this papers show that in the teaching of translation from Chinese into English, the focus should probably be placed on the differences, rather than the similarities, between the two languages.更多还原
