【Abstract】 Psychological trauma is a kind of destructive affectivity,resulted from overwhelming experience of sudden or catastrophic events.Traumatic events consist of natural,technological and social disasters.Of the three disasters,the social one is the most harmful to man’s mental health.Not only is psychological trauma ubiquitous,but also is of tremendous importance to almost every one of us,which is supposedly becoming to date a criterion by which people redefine and explain the nature and characteristics of human being and society.As a perfect traumatic narrative,Mrs.Xianglin in "The New Year’s Sacrifice" by Lu Xun is typical in this respect: the traumatic events she has experienced is extremely painful,the affectivity she has got from the events is the most destructive.Although very fortitudinous and resilient,she has not been liberated from the disasters.It strikes a stark contrast to other similar short stories and novels.Anyway,traumatic narrative is sincere confession both of the writers and characters the writers have depicted,relating to the real pains and mental troubles.Only through traumatic narrative could the psychological trauma be removed.Ergo we can say that life can be saved by art,especially by the art of traumatic narrative.更多还原
