【Abstract】 The historical inheritance of theory of five zang organs correlation from five-element theory was discussed in this study. At the same time, the methodological and theoretical characteristics, and the kinds and ways of theory of five zang organs correlation were also analyzed. It is concluded that theory of five zang organs correlation presents the core thinking of five elements through medical practice. As an applied theoretical model, theory of five zang organs correlation is not just the name replacement of the five-element theory. It advances not only in the concept but also in the content.
