甲状腺乳头状癌组织E-cadherin蛋白表达及其与颈部淋巴结转移相关性研究
Association of expression of E-cadherin in papillary thyroid carcinoma tissues with neck lymph node metastasis
【摘要】 目的:探讨E-cadherin蛋白在甲状腺乳头状癌组织中表达及其与颈部淋巴结转移的关系。方法:应用免疫组织化学EnVision法检测165例甲状腺乳头状癌组织及癌旁正常甲状腺组织中E-cadherin蛋白的表达。结果:甲状腺乳头状癌组织中E-cadherin阳性表达率为40.6%(67/165),明显低于癌旁正常甲状腺组织的90.9%(150/165),P<0.01。E-cadherin在甲状腺乳头状癌组织中的表达与分化程度、是否有颈部淋巴结转移、浸润深度以及AJCC分期密切相关,P值均<0.01。Logistic回归分析显示,E-cadherin表达与PTC颈部淋巴结转移有强相关性,OR=14.935,P<0.01。结论:E-cadherin蛋白在甲状腺乳头状癌组织中表达下调,是影响甲状腺乳头状癌颈部淋巴结转移的相关因子。
【Abstract】 OBJECTIVE:To investigate the relationship of expression of E-cadherin with neck lymph node metastasis in papillary thyroid carcinoma.METHODS:The expression of E-cadherin protein was detected with immunohistochemical En Vision in 165 cases of papillary thyroid carcinoma and pericarcinoma tissues.RESULTS:The positive expression rates of E-cadherin protein in papillary thyroid carcinoma(40.6%(67/165)) was significantly lower than that in pericarcinoma tissues(90.9%(150/165),P<0.01).The expression of E-cadherin was positively related to AJCC clinica1 stage,differentiation degree,lymph node metascasis and degree of infiltration(P<0.01).Logistic regression analysis also showed the correlation of the E-cadherin expression in papillary thyroid carcinoma with neck lymph node metastasis(OR=14.935,P<0.01).CONCLUSIONS: The expression of E-cadherin protein in papillary thyroid carcinoma tissues is low.The down regulation of E-cadherin level is closely correlated to neck lymph node metastasis in papillary thyroid carcinoma.
