【Abstract】 Metaphor is one of the most useful rhetoric devices in language learning.Traditionally metaphor limits its study in the figure of speech without much concern of culture.The paper is intended to figure out the connections among the cognition,metaphor and culture with the objective of emphasizing the fact that language is not just a sign but also a symbol of culture.The study of cognitive metaphor is a good illustration of this relation.更多还原
