南黄海非线性内波的数值模拟研究(1)——内潮的内Kelvin波模型
A Numerical Study of Nonlinear Internal Waves in the South Yellow Sea(1): Model of Internal Kelvin Wave for Internal Tide
【摘要】 若干观测结果表明,黄海内潮波具有较显著的内Kelvin波性质,并且在南黄海其非线性演变过程是产生内孤立波的重要机理之一。本文给出连续分层海洋的内Kelvin波模型,并且对南黄海进行了初步的数值模拟研究。数值模拟结果表明,内潮引起的质点水平速度u的大的剪切值(绝对值)发生在30 m深度以上的水层,而在30 m深度以下的水层中剪切值很小。
【Abstract】 Many observations show that in the Yellow Sea internal tidal waves possess the marked characteristics of internal Kelvin wave,and in the south of the Yellow Sea the nonlinear evolution of internal tidal wave is one of mechanisms producing internal solitary waves.In this paper,the model of internal Kelvin wave for continuous stratified ocean is given,and an elementary numerical study of this model is made in the South Yellow Sea.The simulated results indicate that the large vertical shear(absolute value) of horizontal velocity u of the particle by internal tide takes place within the layer with depth less than 30 m,and the vertical shear is very small within the layer with depth larger than 30 m.
