【Abstract】 Louis Laloy was a learned scholar whose research encompassed musicology, literature, and sinology. His influence on the French modern music in the 20th century made him an important man in the history. Throughout his life he had a strong interest in Chinese language and culture and he was well known for his research on Chinese music and translating the Yuan drama. Laloy’s long essay "Huai Nan Zi & Music" not only provided readers with information of the musical concept of Daoism and Confucianism before the West Han Dynasty, it also annotated accurately the writings regarding music in the book.更多还原
