【Abstract】 By the follow-up investigation of the pilot communities and the non-pilot communities before and after the launching of Community Driven Development Project in Baishui County of Shanxi Province,this paper has conducted statistical analyses of the collected data and found that residents in pilot communities showed greater improvement in community participation,community trust and mutual help.Based on the above,the paper came to the conclusion that the effective way to cultivate the social capital in rural areas is achieved through the external drive to form the rural autonomous organization and by increasing the supply of public goods as well.更多还原
