【Abstract】 As a diasporic Chinese American writer,Maxine Hong Kingston consciously takes on a negotiational tactics considering the differences between western culture and Chinese communities.On interpreting her transplantation and revision of the Chinese traditional stories and canons,we can find the connection between the aesthetic features and ideological meanings of the text,and understand the whole discourse as an all around process of cultural interpretation and negotiation,and respond to the complexity of Chinese American writers more actively.更多还原
