人地系统科学数据网格
The Scientific Data Grid for Human-land System
【摘要】 现代地学研究离不开数据、模型、计算等资源,引入网格技术到地学领域,构建地学数据网格平台,是通过信息化技术支撑地学研究的有效方法和手段。本文分析了科研活动对地学数据网格的需求,并以人地系统科学数据网格为例,主要从网格资源层和网格服务层两个层面阐述了其建设思路。人地系统数据网格已经在中国科学院分布在全国的四家研究所进行了部署,其应用效果显示对改进地学研究方法、提高地学研究效率具有积极作用。
【Abstract】 Modern geosciences research depends highly on the resources such as data, model, computation power, and so on. It is very efficient means for supporting geosciences research by introducing information technology and constructing geosciences data grid. This paper analyzed the demands for geosciences data grid in research activities, and as a specific example of Human-land System Data Grid, the paper introduced the ideas of building the data grid in two layers, the grid resources layer and the grid services layer. This data grid was deployed at 4 research institutes of Chinese Academy of Sciences located around the country. It shows a positive effect for improving the research in geosciences.
