【Abstract】 Despite the development of global communication,there still exist some differences among people in the process of language coding and decoding,and in verbal and nonverbal behaviors due to distinctions in their cultural orientation,values,social norms,mentality,etc.These differences pose great difficulties for those from different cultures to reach mutual understanding and stay in a harmonious relationship.For instance,the different interpretations of shaking hand,as one of the common behaviors in social life,originate just from them.Therefore,only when we have a thorough understanding of these differences can we foresee various possible situations in the process of communication and achieve effective interaction.更多还原
