工业和产品设计中对非结构化技术信息的知识挖掘
Knowledge Mining from Unstructured Technological Information for Industrial and Product Design
【摘要】 工业和产品设计涉及大量的非结构化信息,有助于激发设计师的创新设计概念。现有的系统,只注重产品设计的后续处理,不足以帮助生成工业产品的概念。因此,需要建设一套支持系统,用于辅助设计师审核大量关于不断更新的技术发展的非结构化信息。关键问题是如何从设计师搜索录入的大量信息和知识中快速而准确的搜索到适用的信息和知识,以支持设计概念生成。提出了一个知识提取和摘要系统Knowledge extraction and summarization system(KESS),用于从非结构化数据中提取关键概念,从而用一个结构化的形式管理非结构化数据。根据设计师的输入查询,该系统可以提供一个摘要报告,一份相关概念列表和各种分析结果。工业设计人员可以大大减少产品和技术概念生成的成本和时间。该系统作为广东省科技计划项目中的面向机械装备的现代工业设计公共服务平台的一部分已应用成功。
【Abstract】 Industrial and product design involves plenty of unstructured information which are useful for designers to generate innovative design concepts.The existing systems which focus on subsequent treatment of the product designs are inadequate to support the concept generation process of the industrial products.It is necessary to develop a supporting system for assisting the designers to review lots of unstructured information about the development of continuously updating new technologies in a short period of time.Therefore,the key question is how to search the appropriate information and knowledge quickly and accurately from the massive information and knowledge based on the designer search input in order to support design concept generation process.In this paper,a knowledge extraction and summarization system(KESS) is proposed.The system aims at extracting the key concepts from the unstructured data,so that the unstructured data can be managed in a structured format.A summary report,a related concept list and various analyzed results are also provided based on the designers’ inputted query.Thus,the industrial designers can dramatically reduce the cost and time on generating product and technology concepts.The system has been successfully trial implemented as a part of the Public Service Platform of Modern Industrial Design for machinery& equipment in the Science and Technology Planning Project of Guangdong Province.
