虚拟现实环境下的碰撞检测实现

【摘要】 为了在虚拟漫游系统中对运动物体的碰撞进行实时检测,分析了基于Vega的相交矢量检测方法,鉴于其LOS方法相交测试效率较高,但碰撞检测精确性较低,而BUMP方法的相交测试精确度较高,但大量计算占用的系统资源导致碰撞检测效率较低,提出了一种分级检测措施,即采用LOS方法做模糊相交测试,再切换到BUMP方法进行精确相交测试,旨在提高碰撞检测效率。实验结果表明,这种分级碰撞检测方法提高了运算效率,保证了检测精度,在视景仿真漫游系统中表现出满意的碰撞处理效果。

【Abstract】 To detect collision of objects in virtual reality,three intersect vector detection methods are provided in vega developing environment.In the detection methods,LOS interact detection arithmetic is more efficient while less precision,BUMP interact detection arithmetic is more precision while consume much more system resource at run-time,which leads to reduce efficiency of detection.In the paper,a grade detection arithmetic is proposed to improve collision detection efficiency.The improved method uses LOS to initialize analysis collision range and then uses BUMP to precisely detection.Experiment result shows the new method improves detection efficiency and provides detection precision,and has a satisfying collision detection effect in visual simulation system.
