Investigation of the distribution of white grubs in the summer soybean fields of Huangfanqu was conducted.Seven dominant species of grubs found were Holotrichia parallela Motschulsky,Anomala corpulenta Motschulsky and Anomala exoleta Faldermann.Three kinds of grubs mixedly occurred in the summer soybean fields.These adults usually moved about in early June.They were peak-spawning from early July to mid-July,and began to severely harm the soybean in late August,killing more than 40% soybean plants.Prevention...
