二维金属型光子晶体带隙研究
Study on the band gaps of 2-D metallic photonic crystals
【摘要】 考虑金属的色散特性,运用时域有限差分方法计算了分别由Ag、A l两种金属构成的三角晶格二维金属型光子晶体的带隙结构,得出了带隙结构与填充率的关系曲线。以Ag填充率为0.6为例,三角晶格的第一带隙归一化频率的上限为0.90,第二带隙的范围为1.24~1.41;正方晶格第一带隙归一化频率的上限为0.70,第二带隙的范围为0.84~1.06。研究结果表明三角晶格金属光子晶体相对正方晶格具有更宽阔的第一带隙和中心频率更高的第二带隙。
【Abstract】 Considered the dispersiveness of metal,the band structures of 2-D triangular lattice metallic photonic crystals is analyzed using the FDTD method.Two kinds of metal:Ag and Al are considered.Taking Ag for example,the first band gap′s upper limit frequency of the triangular lattice is 0.90 and the second band gap′s bound is 1.24~1.41,while the first band gap′s upper limit frequency of the square lattice is 0.70 and the second band gap′s bound is 0.84~1.06,when the filling factor is 0.6.The research results indicate that the triangular lattice has a wider first band gap and a higher second band gap.
