【摘要】 多年的极地科学研究积累了多学科的极地专题信息资料,这些资料的数字化、信息化管理与建设是信息社会的发展需求。基于ArcGIS Server平台,设计并实现面向公众的极地专题信息系统。逐步论述系统的设计与建立过程,介绍系统建设前期数据的组织与管理过程、数据的发布过程、系统的主要功能,重点论述信息查询功能和空间分析功能。该系统界面友好,操作便捷,在实现极地专题数据信息发布的同时,可以为广大极地用户提供直观、高效的极地科普服务。更多还原

【Abstract】 A Geographic Information System(GIS) can provide users with a convenient and efficient system of mapping. This paper makes use of various types of data obtained by previous Antarctic surveys by collating them on a purpose-built ArcGIS server platform,designed and implemented as a public polar information system.The system design and development processes are presented in a gradual fashion.The main functions of the system are introduced, with emphasis on the information inquiry functions and spatial analysis capabilities.The system interface is friendly and easy to operate.Thematic data in the realization of polar information are shared,and at the same time,provide a means to disseminate a majority of polar information,thereby providing an efficient service to polar science.更多还原
