【Abstract】 Two kinds of methods for measuring sound speed of seafloor sediments which are in-situ measurement technique and laboratorial measurement technique are introduced at first.Secondly,the sound speeds measured by in-situ equipment and by laboratorial technique in the middle area of the Southern Yellow Sea are compared in detail.The result indicates that there are large differences between in-situ and laboratorial sound speeds.Based on the differences,the influence of sediment temperature and hydrostatic pressure on the sound speeds is discussed.The conclusion is instructive and practicable for the measurement and prediction of sound speed of seafloor sediments.更多还原
