【摘要】 对近40年来国内外激光推进技术研究的发展进程和现状进行了综述;论述了激光推进研究的3个基本组成部分和研究的重点问题,分析了未来激光推进研究的发展方向;并对激光推进的分类、与传统化学推进方式相比的优势、激光推进的主要性能参数以及激光推进研究中常用的实验方法进行了较为详细的介绍;最后对笔者研究组近年来在超短脉冲激光烧蚀推进方面所做的研究工作进行了简要总结,主要包括利用自行搭建的扭秤测量不同脉冲能量、脉冲宽度、激光流量的超短激光脉冲烧蚀多种固体靶材产生的动量以及在水平和竖直方向推进微型小球的实验等。

【Abstract】 An extensive review was presented on the progress of laser propulsion research during the past 40 years since the concept of laser propulsion was proposed.The three key components and the critical problems of laser propulsion research were discussed.The direction of future development of the laser propulsion technology was also analyzed.The main performance parameters,the advantages compared to the conventional chemical propulsion,the commonly-used experimental methods,and the classification of laser propulsion were introduced in detail.The researches on the ultrashort pulse laser ablative propulsion done by our group during the recent years were summarized in the end,including the measurement of the ablation generated momentum by ultrashort laser pulses with different pulse energies,pulse widths and laser fluence by using a home-made torsion pendulum,and some demonstration experiments of propelling micro beads both in the horizontal and vertical directions by using focused ultrashort laser pulses.
