【Abstract】 Government work report is a particular type of text with both oral and written linguistic characteristics.The annual government work report presents a most important source of information about China.Its translation is playing an increasingly important role in advertising China,directly affecting its international fame and status.This paper analyzes the amplification in the English translation of the 2011 Government Work Report from the perspective of functionalism with the analysis of its stylistic word and sentence features and puts forward some theoretical guidance in the translation of political texts.更多还原
