【Abstract】 Through close reading and detailed analysis of Yeats’s early poems and major works from middle and late periods,this paper arrives at the conclusion that the complex antinomies in Yeats’s life constitute the major themes and sources of beauty in his poems.Early Yeats lingers between dreamland,fairyland and reality,persistently pursuing an autonomous domain of poetry.During the middle and late periods,as a result of the coming of wisdom with time,Yeats begins to pursue the eternal art and the perfect union between life and art.更多还原
