【Abstract】 For the vertical handoff mechanism of the current wireless heterogeneous network convergence technology,this paper provides an adaptive vertical handoff algorithm which uses the received signal strength(RSS) as the evaluating indicator and changes the detection threshold by the variation tendency of the RSS.Compared to the traditional average RSS handoff algorithm with fixed threshold,the simulation result shows the proposed algorithm can predict and trigger the handoff switch in advance to improve the handoff performance.更多还原
