The multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWNTs) were synthesized on titanium plate treated with a small amount of chloro-platinic acid as a substrate by a chemical vapor deposition method.The scanning electron microscope photographs show that the sur-face of chloroplatinic acid-treated titanium plate has a lower roughness than the untreated one,and the carbon nanotubes on the treated one have a better orientation.These MWNTs/Ti systems were used as counter electrodes for dye-sensitized solar cells and the photovol...
