【Abstract】 Descriptive translation study is a paradigm which responds to the limitations of traditional prescriptive translation studies.It appeared in 1950s,took shape in 1970s and experienced a rapid development in 1990s.It redefines translation as all utterances which are presented or regarded as such within the target culture,takes a target language oriented approach and proposes the concept of translation norm which is the theoretical nucleus of descriptive translation study.更多还原
