单个MZI型DQPSK解调器的设计与仿真
Design and simulation of a single MZI-based DQPSK demodulator
【摘要】 文章采用91μm厚的石英半波片来降低器件的PDFS(偏振相关频率漂移),在放置半波片位置采用优化的楔形波导结构,将插入半波片带来的附加损耗降至0.41 dB。并通过广角三维光束传输法,对DQPSK(差分正交相移键控)解调器在C波段进行了仿真。结果表明:采用这种结构设计出的器件具有低插损值和高消光比。
【Abstract】 In this paper,we reduce the Polarization-Dependent-Frequency Shift(PDFS) of the DQPSK demodulator with a 91 μm-thick quartz half-wave plate.Using the optimized tapered waveguide structure at the wave-plate,we reduce the additional loss brought about by the inserted half-wave plate to 0.41 dB and simulate the demodulator in the C-band.The results show that demodulators with such a structure have low insertion loss and high extinction ratio.
