预制体中添加碳化钨的C/C复合材料结构与烧蚀性能

【摘要】 采用在炭纤维预制体中添加WC粉末和基体炭增密的方法,制备了添加WC粉末的C/C复合材料。采用电弧驻点烧蚀试验,考察了材料烧蚀性能,并用扫描电镜观察了其结构和烧蚀后表面形貌,探讨了其烧蚀机理。结果表明,添加WC粉末的C/C复合材料的高温烧蚀包括:C/C复合材料中炭纤维和炭基体中炭与烧蚀气流中氧化气氛的反应;WC的氧化及熔融;WC的熔化;钨的氧化物和WC液膜的形成与剥蚀,以及C/C复合材料的剥蚀。融熔的WC和氧化物液膜不能抵挡烧蚀气流的冲刷,也未能起到提高C/C复合材料烧蚀性能的作用。

【Abstract】 C/C composites with WC powder addition was prepared by dopping WC powder into carbon fiber perform followed by matrix densification.The ablation rates of the material were tested on a high-pressure arc heater.Their structure and ablation morphologies were investigated by scanning electron microscope.The results show that WC particles can be well distributed in C/C composites.The ablation process of C/C composites with WC powder includes oxidation of carbon fibers,carbon matrix and WC,melting of WC and W-oxides,together with denudation of WC,W-oxides and C/C composites.But melting of WC and W-oxides can’t form a bed of film to withstand the ablation flow impacts and thus the ablation properties of C/C composites with WC particles are worse than those of C/C composites.
