活性炭对甲苯的吸附平衡及热力学研究

【摘要】 以负载醋酸锌的废活性炭为原料,采用微波法得到再生活性炭产品吸附甲苯。测定了20、30和40℃时活性炭吸附甲苯的吸附等温线和穿透曲线,并用Langmuir和Freundlich方程处理实验数据,Lang-muir方程能很好地拟合实验数据,计算了甲苯在活性炭上的最大饱和吸附量(qm)为273.23mg/g、平均吸附热(ΔH)为-1.92kJ/mol,吸附自由能(ΔG)为负数,吸附熵(ΔS)随吸附量增加而降低,表明该吸附过程是一个自发的放热过程。在相同入口气体浓度和吸附温度下,比较了3种活性炭的饱和吸附量,对比结果表明微波活性炭具有较大的饱和吸附量。

【Abstract】 Activated carbon was prepared by microwave heating from spent activated carbon loaded zinc acetate.The adsorption isotherms,breakthrough curves of toluene in activated carbon were measured at temperatures of 20,30 and 40℃.The experimental data were analyzed theoretically by Langmuir isotherm and Freundlich model,and the isotherms could be well fitted with Langmuir model.The adsorption capacity of 273.23mg/g,average adsorption heat(ΔH) of-1.92kJ/mol,free energy(ΔG) and entropy(ΔS) of toluene in the activated carbon were calculated,and the adsorption process was an exothermic and spontaneous process.At the same time compared with three kinds of activated carbon,and the microwave regeneration of activated carbon had higher adsorption capacity at same conditions than any other activated carbon.
