一种支持业务均衡的OBS自适应多可达性路由机制

【摘要】 针对光突发交换(OBS)网络中如何高效解决频繁发生的光突发竞争问题,提出了一种支持业务均衡的OBS自适应多可达性路由机制(AMR-LB)。首先根据发送端发送业务量大小和当前网络业务承载状态,按需地为光突发确定多可达性路由;然后在非线性规划下,自适应地调整各条路由的业务承载比例。通过性能仿真,并与自适应替代路由算法(AARA)等典型机制比较,AMR-LB在突发丢失率和带宽利用率都得到明显改善,分别约20%和10%。仿真结果表明,该机制不仅可以有效地降低全网丢包率,而且还可以提高网络带宽资源的利用率。

【Abstract】 In optical burst switching(OBS) networks,to efficiently resolve the often occurring burst contention,one scheme,adaptive multi-reachability routing with load balancing(AMR-LB),is proposed,which consists of on-demand multi-reachability routing and network-wide adaptive load distribution.Firstly,the scheme decided the on-demand multi-reachability paths for every traffic flow according to its input load and current network traffic loading status.Then,it adaptively adjusted the distribution proportions for every traffic flow within its multi-reachability paths based on nonlinear programming.Finally,compared with some classical mechanisms,e.g.,adaptive alternate routing algorithm(AARA),by numerical simulations,the results show that AMR-LB can not only effectively reduce the burst dropping probability but also improve the bandwidth utilization,whose improvements are about 20% and 10%,respectively.
