铸造碳化钨反应烧结制备粗晶硬质合金

【摘要】 以铸造碳化钨和钴为原料在低温条件下制备η相粉末,将该粉末与炭黑混合球磨、压制成形,在1 450℃的真空条件下反应烧结制备粗晶硬质合金。探讨烧结气氛、烧结温度对合成η相的影响,碳含量对硬质合金物相、显微组织和物理性能的影响。结果表明在1 200℃的氮气气氛中合成了含有Co2W4C和Co6W6C的混合η相粉末;当总碳含量为5.6%(质量分数)时,η相粉末与炭黑反应烧结合成的硬质合金(WC-10Co)样品,晶粒均匀,晶粒尺寸为3.0μm,致密度达到98%,硬度为85.0HRA。

【Abstract】 η phase powders were prepared from cast tungsten carbide and cobalt at low temperature,the η phase powders and the carbon were mixed by ball milling and followed by pressing,then coarse cemented carbide were prepared by reactive sintering at 1 450 ℃ in vacuum.The influence of the sintering atmosphere and sintering temperature on the formation of η phase were investigated.The effect of C contents on phase composition,microstructure and physics property of cemented carbide were also studied.The results show that the η phase powers consisted of Co2W4C and Co6W6C can be obtained at 1 200 ℃ in nitrogen atmosphere.The uniform coarse cemented carbide with 5.6%(mass fraction) carbon content,which has relative density of 98%,hardness of 85.0HRA and the grain size of 3.0 μm,have been successfully prepared.
