缅甸及其周缘区域新生代沉积物源分析及沉积体系分布

【摘要】 综合运用砂岩骨架成分特征、常量和微量元素地球化学特征分析方法,对缅甸及其周缘区域新生代沉积物物源构造背景及沉积体系分布进行了系统研究,认为其物源主要来自两个方向:北部喜马拉雅碰撞造山带和东部掸邦高地稳定陆块,另外在新生代开始形成的缅甸岛弧也提供了一定的物源。在大印度板块向亚洲板块俯冲的背景下,缅甸及其周缘区域发育巨大的沟-弧体系,在多物源条件下主要发育3种沉积体系:河流沉积体系、滨浅海沉积体系及三角洲沉积体系。

【Abstract】 This paper studies the provenance of Cenozoic sediments and distribution of the sedimentary system in Myanmar and its bordering areas.A geochemical study has been performed on a selection of 131 samples in order to identify the various provenances of sandstones from the block C1,C2 and M10,Myanmar.By analyzing characteristics of the sandstone matrix components,geochemistry of major and trace elements,two kinds of provenance of sediment are identified: the Himalayan collision orogen belt in the north and the Shan craton in the east.The volcano also provided some sediments in the Cenozoic.As the Indian plate subsided beneath the Asian plate,a large trench-arc system was formed.Three kinds of sedimentary system were generated in this multidirectional provenance of sediment condition: river sedimentary system;delta sedimentary system;and littoral sedimentary system.The study of these conduces to the disposition of oil exploration in this area.
