新型聚变堆用超导材料Nb3Al的研究现状
Research on superconducting material Nb3Al for application in future thermonuclear reactors
【摘要】 未来聚变堆中等离子体能量密度的提高对超导磁体中导体在高场下的载流能力和抗应变能力提出了更高的要求。和已大规模应用的Nb3Sn相比,A15型金属间化合物Nb3Al超导材料在高场下的本征临界电流密度更高,且具有更优异的抗应变能力。经过近三十年的持续研究,Nb3Al的性能得到大幅提高,已成为新型聚变堆用极具潜力的超导材料,目前其股线和导体的性能以及制造工艺仍有待进一步的提高和优化。文中将介绍这一新型聚变堆用超导材料的制备和应用研究现状,以及它带给人们的挑战和机遇,并展望了我国对Nb3Al研究和开发的前景。
【Abstract】 Featuring outstanding intrinsic current-carrying capability in high magnetic field and resistance to strain,A15-type intermetallic compound superconductor Nb3Al has attracted much attention since 1970s.After nearly 30 years continuous efforts to explore its potential,its performance has been improved tremendously,making it promising to be used in future thermonuclear fusion reactors which make a rigorous demand for the superconducting materials.This paper reviewed the research on manufacture of Nb3Al and its application in fusion engineering,and explained the challenges and opportunities facing the superconductivity community.The paper was ended with the prospect of research and development of Nb3Al in China.
