【Abstract】 Gait recognition is a new research branch in the biometric recognition field.It can be obtained by relatively long distance without the need of physical contact,and it is hard to obscure and forge.Since gait as a biometric shows increasing recognition capability in intelligent video surveillance tasks,the recent advances of gait recognition technology is introduced,including the researches on gait-based gender recognition,gait-based age recognition and multiview gait recognition.The significant development trend of gait recognition is also investigated.更多还原
