【Abstract】 Xun Zi’s epitomizes the views of Confucian and other ancient Chinese philosophical schools in pre-Qin Dynasty.Language standardization became the core of his linguistic view,regarding the language specification as important content for social norms in the transition period,stressing "recycling the old for new " and "conventionality",which not only agrees to the requirements of the cultural rebuilding trend,but proposed specific guidelines for the implementation,and was ultimately practiced through the efforts of Li Si and others in the Qin Dynasty.Xun Zi’s linguistic theory shows its a certain theoretical and practical value for present language culture construction.更多还原
