【Abstract】 Cultural image is an essential element in literary translation.In literary translation,it is necessary to keep culture imanges so as to maintain the exotic style and artistic features of the original,which bring readers unique and aesthetic appreciation.Whether cultural image is maintained to hold the original,foreign style and artistry,or is lost,changed and reconstructed to suit the reader’s expectation,depends on the translator’s subjective manipulation.This is shown in this paper with some translations of excerpts from poems and novels.更多还原
