【Abstract】 College English is a compulsory course for all non-English majors.Having taught college English for several years,the author has come to realize that pre-reading activities are an effective way to arouse students’ interest in the topic they are going to learn.Through carrying out those well-designed pre-reading activities,students have more chances to demonstrate themselves,to practice spoken English,and to learn how to cooperate with others.All in all,college English teachers should make good use of pre-reading activities so as to achieve the goal of teaching effectively.更多还原
