种子溶胀法制备由羧基修饰的交联聚苯乙烯微球

【摘要】 用分散聚合的方法制得单分散、微米级聚苯乙烯微球(PS),以此聚苯乙烯微球作为种子,以1,2-二氯乙烷为溶胀剂、1-氯代十二烷为助溶胀剂、二乙烯基苯(DVB)为交联剂、α-甲基丙烯酸(MAA)和苯乙烯(Sty)为单体,采用种子溶胀聚合的方法成功制得粒径分布较窄的、由羧基修饰的单分散、微米级交联聚苯乙烯微球,研究了影响由羧基修饰的交联聚苯乙烯微球表面光滑度和粒径大小与分布的因素,以及在不同α-甲基丙烯酸浓度下所制备的由羧基修饰的交联聚苯乙烯微球的电导率,最终对交联聚苯乙烯微球的表面是否有羧基修饰做了定性分析。结果表明:用种子溶胀法成功制得了单分散并由羧基修饰的交联聚苯乙烯微球,并指出以2.0 g PS为种子时,MAA:(PS+Sty)为0.20~0.25时可制得表面光滑,粒径分布窄的由羧基修饰的交联聚苯乙烯微球。

【Abstract】 Monodisperse micrometer-size polystyrene microspheres were prepared by dispersion polymerization.Monodisperse micro-size cross-linked carboxyl-functionalized polystyrene microspheres whose size distribution was narrower were prepared by seeded polymerization with 1,2-dichloroethane as swelling agent,1-chlorododecane as assistant swelling agent,vinyl benzene(DVB) as crosslinking agent and α-methyl methacrylate and styrene as monomers.Different influencing factors of the surface smoothness and particle size and distribution of carboxyl-functionalized polystyrene microspheres were investigated.And the conductivity of carboxyl-functionalized polystyrene microspheres with different concentrations of MAA was researched.Finally,the surfaces of crosslinked polystyrene microspheres modificated carboxyl or not were analysed qualitative.The results showed that cross-linked carboxyl-functionalized polystyrene microspheres were prepared by seeded swelling polymerization.And cross-linked carboxyl-functionalized polystyrene microsphere whose surfaces were smooth and whose particle size distribution was narrow were obtained with 2.0 g PS as seeds and MAA:(PS+Sty) for 0.20~0.25.
