【Abstract】 Fidelity is one of the traditional translation standards,but Skopos and Deconstruction theories deny its status as a standard by questioning the possibility of its realization.Its importance as a translation standard is discussed and asserted in terms of the way to measure fidelity,the nature of translation, translators’ professional ethics,the social function of translation,as well as the dialectical unity of fidelity and smoothness.更多还原
