【Abstract】 Sodium carboxymethyl starch (CMS) is a new and effective additive within the stock, surface sizing and coating water-retaining agent. CMS can be directly soluble in cool water, does not need gelatinization and be used conveniently. It has significant effect on strength when it is used in the stock. CMS surface size has the properties of good film forming and the whole film transferring. It used as water retention in the paper coating, well to improve the rheological properties of coating and enhance the coating quality.更多还原
