【Abstract】 Patient care is one of the most important and effective cancer control measures. The community based cancer patient care system might provide tailored, convenient and cheap services, and is becoming an important domain of cancer patient care. The article introduces the current status and problems remained in the community based cancer patient care in Shanghai. The "Community Support Center for Cancer Patient" program were focused, which aims to explore a new model for the community based cancer patient service. The article introduces the main working scope of the program and its initial progress, and the direction for the future development of the community cancer patient care is discussed.更多还原
